Hello from Kathy at Skagit P-Flag.
Our thanks to each of you and to Bellingham Pride and Bellingham PFLAG for your work in making this such a great week end for our region.
We felt we had a chance to have meaningful contacts and
conversations (& as much as I believe the Seattle event
is important), I believe this kind of effort is essential to
making change here in our own communities.
I didn't know my little Ranger could have such an
enthusiastic horn, and I will never forget the look of
delight on Robert's (my husband's) face as we passed the hecklers.
(That is my PFLAG moment for this year:)
Bill Pfeifer is our webmaster and has posted some video and
pictures on the site. Robert and I have some we will download and send too and we are willing to share them. I think you will find them fun to see. Perhaps you can let Bill or us know if there are particular shots you can use.
Is it likely that July 12 will be the Festival weekend next
summer? I want to make sure people know they can put this
event on their calendar and know that they will not want to
ever miss it in the future.
